Refund & Return Policy – Camer Import African Market

At Camer Import African Market, we are committed to providing high-quality products. Due to the nature of our goods, especially perishable food items, we have strict return and refund guidelines outlined below.


1. Return Window (Strict)

All return requests must be initiated AND completed within 7 days of delivery.

  • The item must be received back by us within 7 days of the delivery date
  • Returns requested or received after 7 days will not be accepted
  • The delivery date is determined by the shipping carrier tracking

👉 Simply contacting us within 7 days is not sufficient. The item must be returned and received within this timeframe.


2. Perishable & Food Items

Due to health and safety regulations:

  • Perishable items (food, frozen goods, refrigerated products) are final sale and non-returnable
  • Exceptions may be made only if the item is damaged, defective, or expired at the time of delivery

3. Damaged, Defective, or Expired Items

If you receive a product that is:

  • Damaged
  • Defective
  • Expired upon arrival

You must:

  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
  • Provide clear photos and/or videos showing:
    • The issue
    • Packaging
    • Expiration date (if applicable)

👉 Simply contacting us or reporting the issue is not sufficient. Any approved return must still be returned and received within 7 days of delivery.

Failure to report within 48 hours will result in automatic denial of the claim.


4. Return Approval Required

  • All returns must be approved by our team before being sent back
  • Unauthorized returns will not be accepted or refunded

5. Return Conditions

To be eligible for a refund:

  • Items must be returned in original condition
  • Items must be unused and in original packaging
  • Items must not be opened, tampered with, or altered

👉 Any item returned:

  • Damaged
  • Opened
  • Used
  • Missing parts

Will be denied or subject to a partial refund at our discretion.


6. Late or Non-Compliant Returns

  • Returns that do not meet the 7-day requirement will be automatically rejected
  • Returns received outside the approved conditions may be:
    • Denied, or
    • Subject to partial refund only at our discretion

7. Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected:

  • Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method or via store credit
  • Refund amounts may be reduced if:
    • The item is not in original condition
    • The return is late
    • The product is damaged upon return

8. Shipping Costs

  • Shipping fees are non-refundable
  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, unless the error was on our side

9. Refused or Undeliverable Packages

If a package is:

  • Refused by the customer
  • Returned due to incorrect address
  • Undeliverable

👉 The order will be:

  • Subject to restocking fees
  • Original shipping costs will not be refunded

10. Order Responsibility

Customers are responsible for:

  • Providing a correct shipping address
  • Being available to receive perishable deliveries

We are not responsible for:

  • Spoilage due to delivery delays outside our control
  • Packages left unattended after delivery

11. Right to Refuse

Camer Import African Market reserves the right to:

  • Deny any return or refund that does not meet this policy
  • Refuse service in cases of suspected abuse or fraud

14. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes (No Abuse Policy)

By placing an order with Camer Import African Market, you agree to contact us first at sales@camerimportafricanmarket.com to resolve any issue before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or payment provider.

We are committed to resolving all concerns in a fair and timely manner.

Unauthorized Chargebacks

Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us, or in violation of this Refund & Return Policy, may be considered chargeback abuse.

In such cases, we reserve the right to:

  • Provide all order details, delivery confirmation, communications, and this policy as evidence to the payment processor
  • Dispute the chargeback to the fullest extent
  • Deny any future orders from the customer
  • Report fraudulent activity where applicable

Agreement to Terms

By completing your purchase, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • You have read and accepted our Refund & Return Policy
  • You understand the conditions for returns, refunds, and non-refundable items
  • You agree not to initiate a chargeback outside of these terms

Important Note

Filing a false or unjustified chargeback may be considered fraudulent activity and can result in:

  • Reversal of funds back to our business
  • Additional fees charged by your financial institution
  • Restrictions on future purchases
